The Ivy Group Launches New Website for the Association of Social Work Boards

ASWB website homepage

The Ivy Group launched the newly redesigned ASWB.org for Association of Social Work Boards (ASWB) in November 2013. We have hosted the site since 2006.

When ASWB's web team, Bobbie Hartman and Jayne Wood, first approached us about redesigning the site, they said they wanted to really think outside the box to create a progressive, unique web presence for the association.

"Branding and accessibility were of primary importance when considering outreach to our stakeholders," said Wood. "We wanted a fresh, sophisticated image that could be translated with consistency across all media platforms for immediate brand identity."

With this in mind, Stephen Burden adapted the old color palette and optimized it for the web to make each page pop. Ivy Group programmers Bobby Pearson and Leslie Floyd then implemented these colors on the vertically scrolling and mobile responsive website.

The Website Redesign Process

From the onset of the project, Hartman and Wood saw the new website as a tool to make managing ASWB's web presence more efficient. "We were looking for a well-built website with a user-friendly content management system, and that's what we got," said Hartman. "This site will save us time on web management and help us focus on content."

Internally, the website provides members-only access to calendars, information and documents that are securely shared and stored online. For ASWB's audience, the site features new landing pages and free content (such as the Candidate Handbook) that helps exam candidates prepare for the ASWB social work licensing exams.

In addition to the website redesign, we had the privilege of working with ASWB to design new stationery and business cards. The new materials reflect the refreshed color palette and reinforce brand identity.

The Ivy Group would like to thank ASWB for all of their assistance and exceptional work throughout the duration of the project. We hope you are as pleased with the new website as we are!
